Announcing BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

Special promotion at July 19-21 event will see a BikeBandit.com gift card given away every 10 minutes

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- May 9, 2013 -- The American Motorcyclist Association is pleased to announce that BikeBandit.com, the country's leading online source for motorcycle parts, gear and accessories, is the title sponsor for the 2013 BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, set for July 19-21 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

"Vintage bike owners have a passion for keeping cool older bikes on the road, and they know that BikeBandit.com has everything they need to do just that: from OEM parts and accessories for all makes and models to gear with modern protection and vintage flair from the best brands," said Kailin Terrill, BikeBandit.com's marketing director.  "We're psyched to fuel that passion as the title sponsor of BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days."

A significant benefit of BikeBandit.com's sponsorship will be a special giveaway drawing for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days attendees.  Every hour, from noon Friday to noon Sunday, six BikeBandit.com gift cards will be awarded at the AMA tent -- the equivalent of a gift card every 10 minutes.  Winners of AMA Vintage No. 1 plates in the roadracing, motocross, hare scrambles and trials competitions will also receive special BikeBandit.com gift cards.

"AMA members know BikeBandit.com for the company's reputation for service and fast shipping, plus longstanding special savings on parts and accessories only for AMA members," said AMA Director of Communications and Marketing Grant Parsons.  "It's great to have BikeBandit.com expand that support to the country's premier celebration of vintage bikes and the people who love them at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.  BikeBandit.com makes a great event even better," Parson said.

With proceeds supporting the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is the country's premier celebration of vintage motorcycles and motorcycling heritage.  In addition to the AMA Classic Field Meet Challenge, the event includes amateur national championship roadracing, demo rides of current street and off-road motorcycles, motocross, hare scrambles, trials and dirt-track in vintage classes.  The weekend also features North America's largest motorcycle swap meet, bike shows and seminars on a number of topics by noted motorcycling experts.

For a limited time, AMA members can call (800) 262-5646 for advance discounted tickets ($25 single-day/$45 weekend, with no convenience charge).  But hurry!  These prices are only good through Memorial Day weekend.  Non-AMA members, please visit www.midohio.com or call (800) 643-6446 for tickets.
